ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a full-time Showroom Sales and Operations Coordinator to join our furniture and home décor store team in Omaha. This position is hands on, fast paced, customer facing, and ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, learning products in depth, supporting designers, and contributing to a team driven business.
This is not a sit at the desk or ring and go retail position. Each day is active and varied and you will be involved in retail sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory support, and daily store operations. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company, take ownership, and contribute to our long term goals while helping deliver a consistent, high touch customer experience. RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales and Client Experience
Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional, welcoming manner
Confidently sell products and guide customers through purchasing decisions
Provide product knowledge and recommendations to support a premium in store experience
Operate the point of sale (POS) system for checkout, refunds, and returns
Answer phones and route inquiries appropriately
Maintain and manage the appointment calendar
Communicate with interior designers when their clients are in the store
Store and Inventory Operations
Receive and process new inventory (unbox, inspect for damage, tag, stage, and merchandise)
Assist with inventory organization, counts, and general stock support
Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation
Support general store upkeep, organization, and product restocking
Ensure the store reflects our brand standards, values, and level of service
Team & Business Support
Collaborate with retail, design, and warehouse teams to support daily operations
Follow systems and procedures while offering thoughtful improvements
Represent the company’s values and professionalism in day to day interactions
Schedule & Compensation
Full-time, salaried position
Requires 2 Saturdays per month, business hours 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Weekday schedule 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Competitive salary based on experience
QUALIFICATIONS
Retail, store, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
Sales experience strongly preferred (furniture, home décor, or specialty retail experience a plus)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable multitasking in a busy, customer facing environment
Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional

As an interior design and retail store we have a lot of furniture moving through the space, so physical strength is required. Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs and stand or walk for extended periods of time. Occasionally additional hours may be needed to support the team and client experience. Candidates must be able to perform in environments of varying temperature and noise conditions and must report to work on time as directed by management.
