Job Description

Our client is a fast-growing media and content company producing high-volume, social-first video content across multiple platforms. They specialize in short-form videos, podcast clips, and engaging digital media designed for fast-paced online audiences.

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to support ongoing content production. This is a part-time, project-based role with a schedule aligned to ET hours (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM ET or 10:00 PM – 4:00 AM PHT).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video content (primarily 30–90 second clips) for social media platforms
• Produce podcast clips across multiple shows (approximately 12+ clips per week)
• Create additional social content including:
• Show/series edits
• Miscellaneous social media videos

• Incorporate brand elements such as:
• Captions/subtitles
• Lower thirds
• Intro/outro elements
• Music and sound design
• Motion graphics

• Collaborate with producers on creative reviews and revisions
• Ensure fast turnaround times (same day or within 24 hours when needed)

Requirements:
• 1–2 years of video editing experience (Junior level)
• Strong experience editing social-first video content
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (all programs)
• Strong attention to pacing, storytelling, and visual flow
• Ability to manage high-volume workloads with quick turnaround times
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with media, content, or digital publishing environments
• Experience working on podcast or sports-related content
• Familiarity with fast-paced content styles
