Job Description

Position: Shopify Web Developer

Salary: PHP 75,000 - PHP 90,000/month (depending on skills and experience)

Working Hours & Conditions: Mondays to Fridays; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM AEST

Holidays: TBD

OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Web Developer to build, customise, and optimise Shopify stores for brands in the beauty and FMCG space, primarily serving Australian and New Zealand clients. This role requires strong technical expertise in Shopify theme development, a good understanding of eCommerce best practices, and the ability to collaborate with marketing and operations teams to deliver high-performing online stores.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, customise, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Implement custom features and enhancements to improve store functionality and user experience
• Optimise site performance, responsiveness, and conversion rates
• Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotions, product launches, and content updates
• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and tools as needed
• Troubleshoot bugs, resolve technical issues, and ensure site stability
• Ensure best practices for SEO, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Support ongoing store improvements based on performance data and client feedback

Requirements:
Must Have

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Shopify development experience
• Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid templating for theme customisation and functionality
• Previous experience working with beauty, FMCG, or similar consumer brands
• Experience supporting Australian or New Zealand clients
• Experience using AI tools to support marketing content creation (e.g., product descriptions, landing pages, visuals)
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote setup
• Own reliable development equipment (exceptions may be made for highly qualified candidates)

Nice-to-Have / Bonus Skills

• Exposure to CIN7 or similar inventory management / ERP systems
• Understanding of CRO, analytics, and eCommerce performance optimisation
