Job Description

MetalQuest Unlimited in Post Falls, Idaho is seeking candidates for a Shop Support role to serve as our ambassador for shop organization. Are you interested in the world of machining and looking for hands-on experience? This is the position for you! In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping production moving by ensuring our CNC operators have the tools, materials, and support they need, while maintaining the overall cleanliness of the shop. Job Responsibilities

Assist with general shop upkeep as needed

Support the production of advanced CNC machines

Transfer and package parts and materials as required

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment

Maintain a clean and organized facility

Gain hands-on experience across multiple departments

Qualifications

Due to ITAR compliance requirements, all employees at this location must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Team player who works well with others

CNC Knowledge is a plus (but not required)

Starting Pay:   $16 / hour    (depending on experience)

Schedule:   (20 hours / week)

Flexible hours based around YOUR schedule

Working Environment

This position requires the use of protective eye equipment at all times while on the production floor.

This position operates in a standing position for 75% of the time.

May need to lift or move objects up to 40 lbs., frequently operates manual machinery and computers, and may need to make adjustments to parts of machinery, including bending, stooping, reaching or crouching.
