Job Overview
The Shop Helper performs a combination of tasks, including but not limited to efficiently and safely loading and unloading materials, painting, sweeping, rigging, shop maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Help maintain and organize the shop as directed.
Deliver and make runs for the shop.
Empty garbage cans daily.
Maintain the cleanliness of the shop; all items off the floor and sweep daily.
Maintain consumables inventory.
Maintain tools inventory.
Clean up any oil spills, drips, and any slipping hazards immediately on the premises.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements
Capability to operate forklifts.
Basic computer knowledge to place orders and communicate through emails.
Valid driver's license.
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail and safety-oriented mindset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
