Job Description
T. Musselman Excavating is looking for a full-time Shop Helper. The successful candidate will be working under a team of experienced technicians to help maintain a clean, organized and safe work space. They will have an opportunity to assist and work on a variety of heavy trucks, heavy equipment, pick up trucks, and small engines.

Responsibilities
Grinding, painting and refinishing equipment
Cleaning vehicle and equipment cabs
Pressure washing pick-up trucks, dump trucks and heavy equipment
Polishing wheels
Cleaning and organizing the shop and yard
Assisting team with welding, cutting and fabrication
Assisting mechanics with oil changes, tire changes, and various repairs on a wide variety of heavy equipment and trucks
Other duties will be assigned as required
Desired Skills and Experience
Prior experience in painting and refinishing equipment is required
Prior experience working in a shop and mechanical environment is preferred
Experience with a wide variety of hand and power tools, mechanically inclined
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Must be safety conscious
Excellent team player
Strong attention to detail
Strong time management and organizational skills
Must obtain WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety training
