Position Type: Full-Time, 40+ hours per week

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 12pm - 10:30pm (2 weeks training M-F 9a-5p)

Location: Gilbert, AZ

Pay Range: $19 - 22/hr

Position Overview

The company is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Shipping Specialists to join the growing team in Gilbert, AZ. This is an opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate delivery of specialized compounded medications to patients. The Shipping Specialists are at the heart of the operations, along with packaging and preparing patient-specific prescription orders for shipment while upholding quality control and compliance according to Strive Pharmacies SOP's, they will also be in a rotation of loading and driving and unloading a company vehicle from our Gilbert facility to our Mesa location and our trusted FedEx partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and packaging patient-specific cold, meltable, and room temperature orders for shipment

• Communicating amongst departments to ensure any shipping changes are updated appropriately

• Updating the team when shipping inventory is low on any items used within that department

• Contributes to keeping the assembly and shipping areas clean

• Our warehouse relies on digital tools, including inventory management software, barcode scanners, and label readers.

• Lifting and moving 50 pound items repeatedly

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and lift and walk and talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. This is not a sitting role. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Clean Driving record

• Able to pass criminal background check

• Previous experience in shipping or warehousing preferred

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Experience with accurate record-keeping, inventory management, and timely deliveries

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software and systems. Our warehouse relies on digital tools, including inventory management software, barcode scanners, and label readers.

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly

• Ability to stand for long periods: This role involves physical demands, including handling packages and being on one's feet for extended periods.

• Good communication and teamwork skills: Effective communication is vital for collaborating with team members, vendors, and other departments!

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations preferred. Training will be provided.

• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting
