Shipping & Receiving Material Handler

We currently have openings for Shipping & Receiving Material Handlers in our Troy, Ohio location. The starting pay for a Shipping & Receiving Material Handler is $18.00 plus $1.00 shift differential. Wage increases up to $25.61 after 24 months.

Shift Schedule:

2nd shift - Monday through Friday - 3p.m. to 11p.m.

3rd shift hours Monday – Friday 11pm-7am.

Responsibilities include:

Unload incoming shipments off trucks.

Compare incoming shipments against bills of lading, invoices, or other records to verify accuracy of order.

Unpack and examine incoming product for damage; move materials to correct storage area or department.

Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning materials moved in and out of warehouse, and completing sub inventory transfers.

Convey incoming materials from receiving platform to storage or work areas by using forklift, tow motor, hand trucks or other devices.

Perform inventory as required; inform supervisor of any shortages.

Follow prescribed safety regulations.

Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

Perform other job-related duties and activities as needed.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, must be able to lift 70 - 100 lbs, and have the ability to work at a quick pace.

Proven experience in warehouse operations.

Forklift operation certification.

Proficient in using RF scanners.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
