Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Technician

Position Overview: Involves tracking, handling, and documenting all materials,

stock, and equipment that are shipped and received by an organization.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:  Include but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.  Key Duties: unloading and inspecting incoming goods, preparing outgoing shipment, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating with trucking companies and internal teams.

Position Requirements:

Pass a background check and have a valid driver's license.
• Possess advanced customer service and relationship building skills.
• Possess high-level organizational skills.
• Demonstrate strong multi-tasking skills.
• Adapt to change and work well with others.
• Proficiency in standard office programs like MS Office 365.
• Operate effectively with minimal supervision.
• Maintain physical stamina for long periods in a warehouse environment.
• Ensure accuracy in order verification and checking for damaged goods.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and management.
• Verify quantities and read shipping documents.
• Operate equipment like forklifts.
• Manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure dependability and integrity in record-keeping and material security.

Working Condition / Physical Requirements:

Warehouse work involves exposure to varying temperatures and potential hazards, such as forklift traffic.
• The work environment is fast paced, necessitating the ability to manage a high volume of goods.
• The role requires significant physical labor, including movement and physical effort.
