Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate domestic and international shipments and the receipt of all products, materials and supplies for a fast-paced operation
Complete all shipping documentation per regulations
Safely pack and palletize shipments as needed
Complete final inspection of all orders
Receive deliveries and unload packages and pallets from trucks
Collect packing lists and verify parts and quantities are correct
Distribute packages as required
Complete all Receiving functions in ERP
Complete and file all required paperwork
Manage all storage locations, including properly storing and taking inventory of all materials
Completes daily cycle counts
Coordinate with purchasing as needed to ensure 100% availability of materials
Pulls product as needed to support operations
Support other operations activities as assigned
What you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum Requirements -
1+ years of experience within manufacturing, production/assembly, and supply chain management (purchasing, receiving, warehousing, inventory control, quality assurance, etc.)
High School diploma or equivalent
Excellent understanding of shipping materials domestically and internationally
Team player with effective communication and collaboration skills, including a hands-on, rollup the sleeves attitude to juggle multiple projects and workstreams in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to complete tasks efficiently and within constraints according to standard cycle times while adhering to all company procedures and safety guidelines
Ensure quality product and service with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and exceed expectations
Proficient with computer applications, including Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.); Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools (e.g. Macola, Epicor, Great Plains, etc.) is a plus
Preferred Qualifications -
Experience or familiarity in shipping electronics with lithium batteries/shipping electronics preferred, but not required
Physical Requirements -
Able to work while standing, for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours) and to perform repetitive lifting (up to 50 pounds unassisted), including using appropriate lifting technique to avoid injury
