Shipper/Receiver

Activate is a technology company known for creating Canada's first full-scale interactive gaming experience.  We are looking to expand our Manufacturing team with the addition of a Shipper and Receiver at our Red Fife warehouse. A successful applicant will be expected to receive and inventory incoming stock, pick and package sales orders, assist in the coordination of outbound shipments and verify for their accuracy. This is a full-time, permanent position. The schedule for this position is 8:00 am- 4:00 pm at Activate’s warehouse located at 3149 Red Fife Road.  

The Duties and Responsibilities:  

Receiving

Receive and inventory production stock deliveries

Receive and deliver operations and department stock deliveries

Keep receiving systems up to date with physical deliveries

Picking & Inventory

Pick and pack components for part orders and game room packages

Maintain digital manifest of completed shipping picks

Complete weekly consumables inventory checks

Shipping

Create outbound freight shipment documentation

Manage the quoting process for booking outbound freight shipments

Load outbound freight shipments and provide documentation to shipping carriers

Quality Assurance

Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and complete by verifying contents against documentation, following established procedures.

Maintain detailed records of quality checks and shipment verifications to support traceability and compliance.

Collaborate with the Warehouse Team Lead and supply chain to resolve quality issues and implement corrective action.

The Qualifications:  

Detail oriented with a critical eye for identifying errors

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure

Ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs

Proven ability operate a forklift in a safe and effective manner is a must

High School Diploma

1-2 years in a related field
