Responsibilities:
Shipping:
Obtain job tickets for completed orders and review the amount packed to ensure accuracy.
Communicate with appropriate personnel concerning shortages and various issues and develop resolutions to ensure on time delivery to the customer.
Prepare shipments by creating packing slips with system ensuring duly completion of all required information.
Co-ordinate pick-up of shipments with the transport company ensuring all documentation is duly signed and required paperwork is attached to shipment and the job ticket.
Prepares customs paperwork for orders shipped outside Canada and arrange for specific transportation.
Completes inventory job tickets by putting SKU’s and quantity into the systems finished goods.
Receiving:
Receive incoming shipments by unloading from transport vehicle and enter into the system.
Verifies the quantity received by matching with the purchase order and packing slip and examining the condition of the goods.
Inspects the truck for pest activity, cleanliness and any foreign materials and communicate non-compliant in findings to the production supervisor.
Enter incoming shipments into system by matching up quantity received with quantity ordered in the system. Notifying the purchaser of any deviations.
Distributes material received to proper departments and or stores according to pre-assigned rack locations and GMP requirements.
Releases product from finished goods according to the oldest inventory available.
Stockroom: Support press schedule requirements ensuring materials are staged at press according to production schedule.
Remove used material from Press and store in appropriate locations in inventory.
Education & Qualifications:
Order Picking (up to 50lbs)
Fort truck / Reach Truck license or experience
Pump Truck operation
Walkie operations
Computer experience
Skid wrapping machine
