Sika is looking for an experienced Shipper Receiver in Lancaster, TX to join its growing team.
In this position, you’ll handle the movement of raw materials, supplies, and finished products while operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. You’ll work closely with the Plant Superintendent and Plant Manager and support a variety of shipping, receiving, and inventory activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Pull finished goods from inventory, assemble customer orders, and prepare shipments according to company and customer requirements
• Select, pack, wrap, and stage products for outbound shipment
• Receive inbound materials—including raw materials, operating supplies, equipment, and finished product—and place items in correct storage locations
• Sample and log raw materials for quality control and pull materials as needed for production
• Operate a forklift to safely load/unload trucks and move materials between buildings and departments
• Verify raw materials, supplies, and finished goods against documentation; check for damage and record exceptions
• Match materials to bills of lading and report discrepancies to the supervisor
• Perform cycle counts, inventory checks, and maintain inventory accuracy using barcode scanning technology
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety and housekeeping standards
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Minimum 6 months of forklift operation experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet forklift certification requirements through company training
• Excellent attendance and reliability
• Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as needed
