Boeing Global Service is seeking for a Sheet Metal Technician to assist in our maintenance efforts in Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.

Position Responsibilities:

• Inspect aircraft structures and systems for damage or wear.
• Performs repairs and replacements on aircraft structures and systems.
• Utilizes specialized tools and equipment to repair and maintain aircraft primary and secondary structures.
• Collaborate with other maintenance disciplines to ensure that aircraft are ready for flight operations.
• Inspect components before installation or usage to verify cleanliness and serviceability of components.
• Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications.
• Perform tasks associated with the safe handling of an aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations).
• Able to assign and perform CUT (Cross Utilization Training) as required.
• Works under general supervision.

This position requires the ability to obtain the US Security Clearance from the US Government.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Sheet Metal.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience on military fighter platforms (F-16, F-18, F-22, F-5, F-14, or F-15).
• Military or vocational school related to discipline or equivalent.
