You will join the Infrastructure & Operations domain within a large, complex organization, reporting to the Digital Workplace Manager.
The Digital Workplace – SharePoint team is responsible for delivering enterprise content and collaboration solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem, supporting the full information lifecycle:
capture, processing, storage, governance, and digital delivery via internal and external digital platforms.
Within this environment, the SharePoint Platform Architect / Administrator acts as a key architectural reference, ensuring the platform remains secure, scalable, governed, and future‑proof, while enabling controlled business autonomy.
Your Responsibilities
Architecture & Platform Governance
• Define, maintain, and evolve a coherent SharePoint architecture (Online and On‑Prem)
• Ensure alignment with Microsoft 365 standards and platform strategy
• Establish and enforce architectural and technical governance
• Validate solution designs upfront via demand‑management and governance processes
• Act as architectural authority across Digital Workplace initiatives
Technical Administration & Operations
• Perform hands‑on technical administration of the SharePoint platform
• Ensure platform stability, security, performance, and availability
• Proactively optimize storage usage, lifecycle management, and associated costs
• Maintain standards, documentation, patterns, and reference architectures
Low‑Code / Power Platform Governance
• Define and enforce governance for Power Apps, Power Automate, and related solutions
• Supervise business‑driven developments to ensure:• Architectural coherence
• Security and compliance
• Maintainability and reusability
• Cost and license control
• Prevent shadow IT via clearly defined standards, environments, and best practices
• Enable business autonomy within a controlled and sustainable framework
Stakeholder & User Enablement
• Translate business needs into solutions aligned with target architecture
• Support users in document management architecture choices
• Support and guide users in document and process automation
• Communicate architectural vision clearly to IT teams, business stakeholders, and partners
• Coach teams and raise overall platform maturity
Core Technologies
• SharePoint Online – Advanced (recent hands‑on experience required)
• SharePoint On‑Premises – Expert (recent hands‑on experience required)
• Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Microsoft 365 / Digital Workplace ecosystem
• Enterprise architecture & governance frameworks
Key Capabilities
• Designing and governing large‑scale SharePoint platforms
• Structuring and governing document management architectures
• Managing low‑code/no‑code platforms in complex environments
• Combining architectural leadership with practical technical administration
Languages
• Dutch or French – Native or bilingual (mandatory)
• English – Professional level (nice to have)
