Job Description:

Position: Sharepoint Developer

Location: Columbia, SC 29201

Duration: 11+ months

Client: Direct Client

Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Set up and configure SharePoint Services on servers.
• Maintain web front-end servers and some aspects of database.
• Assist with creating and maintaining sites, site collections, applications, web parts, features, themes, workflows, navigation and master pages.
• Assist with design, develop, and implement InfoPath forms and workflows to improve business process
• Provide documentation and training to customers on new functionality and custom solutions.
• Assist with site customization using SharePoint Designer.
• Follow DIS and EPO standards when developing solutions
• Deploy and administer SharePoint portals.
• Assist with establishing and maintaining end-user access policy and permissions. This may include delegating permissions authority to other users.
• All sites and site collections security should be implemented using Active Directory security.
• Develop and maintain system documentation to include Site names, site collection and site owners
• Review and recommend the needed Office 365 SharePoint controls in order to maintain the security of the sites
• Strong ASP.NET Web Forms Development [Web Parts, Custom ASPX Pages, etc.]
• Knowledge of XML [Features, Content Types, Field Definitions]
• Working knowledge in JavaScript [jQuery, SPServices, REST, Custom Field Types, etc.]
• Strong working knowledge of PowerShell
• Ability to write/debug CAML (Collaborative Application Markup Language) queries
• Working knowledge of the SharePoint app model

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
BACHELOR’S DEGREE OR EQUIVALENT WORK EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• 5+ YEARS with Microsoft SharePoint administration with at least 1 year using Office 365.
• EXPERIENCE IN MICROSOFT SQL SERVER 2008/2012/2014/2016.
• EXPERIENCE EXTRACTING REPORTS FORM SHAREPOINT
• 3 + YEARS CREATING AND MAINTAINING INFOPATH FORMS.
• EXCELLENT TROUBLESHOOTING SKILLS TO ROOT CAUSE COMPLEX ISSUES.
• HAVE THE ABILITY TO EXAMINE AND QUICKLY LEARN EXISTING BUSINESS LOGIC AND PROCESSES.
• EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS BOTH VERBALLY AND IN WRITTEN FORM.
• EXCELLENT ANALYTICAL, PROBLEM SOLVING, AND CODE-READING SKILLS.
• MUST BE A SELF-STARTING TEAM PLAYER, AND HAVE THE ABILITY TO PERFORM WELL IN A FAST-PACED, DEADLINE-DRIVEN ENVIRONMENT.
• ABILITY TO RE-MEDIATE SECURITY ISSUES WITHIN DEVELOPED APPLICATION CODE
• KNOWLEDGE OF BEST PRACTICES IN WEB DESIGN
• ABILITY TO TEACH, TRAIN, AND TRANSFER KNOWLEDGE.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
• EXPERIENCE WITH VISUAL STUDIO, C#, ASP.NET IS A PLUS.
• EXPERIENCE WITH TEAM FOUNDATION IS A PLUS.
