About the role

You’ll own design for some of our most complex user journeys. We’re looking for a product designer who thinks like a builder - someone who uses AI tools naturally, closes the gap between design intent and what actually ships, and sees production as part of their craft, not someone else’s responsibility.

The traditional handoff model is behind us. You’ll prototype using tools like Cursor, Claude, or v0, push UI updates directly in Plasmic, and work closely with engineers to bring ideas into production quickly. Opening PRs, making front-end tweaks, and contributing directly to implementation are part of how we work.

At the same time, this is fundamentally a product design role - not a UI production role. We care deeply about product judgment, systems thinking, interaction quality, and the ability to make thoughtful decisions.

What you'll work on

You'll start by owning specialist care and prescription management experiences within our consumer health app - flows that sit at the intersection of patient needs, clinical logic, and operational constraints.

Over time, your scope will expand based on where the product is going and what you're ready to take on.

What good looks like

You run your own design process. You don't wait to be briefed on every screen - you identify gaps, raise them, and bring a point of view to the PM conversation. You're comfortable making interaction decisions without everything being pre-solved, and you know when to escalate vs. when to just decide.

You think in systems and end-to-end experiences, not disconnected screens. You care about what happens before and after the moment you’re designing for.

You care about craft and interaction quality, but you also understand business goals, operational constraints, and what it takes to ship successfully.

You don't wait for a research brief. You identify what you need to know, find a way to learn it, and bring that back into your design decisions.

About you

3-5 years designing complex consumer or transactional flows - fintech, insurtech, healthtech, e-commerce with real operational depth, or similar

Strong product thinking - you understand what the business needs, not just what users want

Familiarity with design systems and token-based workflow

Comfortable working in AI-assisted workflows- using AI pragmatically to accelerate research, thinking, prototyping, communication, and implementation.

Comfortable working close to production - using tools like Plasmic, AI-assisted workflows, and existing frontend codebases to prototype, iterate, and ship UI changes without relying entirely on traditional handoff processes

High ownership mindset with a bias toward action, experimentation, and continuous improvement
