We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management.

Our founders are hardcore telecommunications engineers with combined 200 + years of experience in designing, optimizing and performance engineering; for several mid – large wireless carriers internationally - that saw a need to provide low power, cost efficient sensors to collect data, create alerts, and predict needed actions. We have combined these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to provide clients various options to decrease re-occurring costs associated with operating an IoT network of sensors and connected devices.

Saas/ Cloud Architect - Enterprise Architect to help enhance and expand our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product offerings. Responsibilities 
Responsible to layout roadmap, design, plan, and implement scalable information technology solutions that 
meet current and future business needs. 
Build resilient system implementations to ensure information security, stability and availability of business 
applications 
Work closely with the information technology infrastructure team to maintain standard, reliable, and 
consistent system configurations across the company enterprise as appropriate. 
Monitor current and future technology trends and make recommendations of solutions and standards that meet 
the business needs and drives improvements 
Maintain a close working relationship with the business leaders, understanding the business I/T requirements 
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers to secure and maintain high-quality infrastructure products and services 
Leads any Proof of Concept projects required to thoroughly investigate architectural possibilities and
strengthen arguments for their adoption. 
Experience developing and deploying software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications within popular public cloud 
platforms 
Leading system and software architecture design and implementation decisions 
Developing feature roadmaps and assisting in the Agile development of a software-as-a-service 
solution 
Communicating architecture design decisions and impacts to key stakeholders 
Deep understanding of the current state of the art for infrastructure automation, continuous 
integration/deployment, SQL/NoSQL/NewSQL, networking, and cloud-based delivery models.

10+ years of overall IT / software development experience, solution design and technical architecture 
experience 
5+ years of driving application architecture design 
3+ years of experience with cloud computing solutions implementations including AWS, Google Apps, Salesforce 
etc. 
Experience in cloud computing based services architecture, technical design and implementations including 
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery 
models. 
Experience in Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures. 
Experience in how legacy and web-based systems interfaces, Application Programmable Interfaces (APIs). 
Demonstrated knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology and coding methods/best 
practices. 
Ability to design and implement reliable, scalable, high performing Web based solutions that meet the 
service levels associated with mission-critical Identity and Access Management based solutions. 
Demonstrated ability to work and interact with CxOs and high-level executives. 
Strong knowledge of Security Architecture, Design and Operations 
Strong knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, SPML, SSO, RBAC 
Strong knowledge of web protocols XML, SOAP, JSON, REST 
Knowledge of software development security and cryptography. 
Knowledge of Java EE and other development frameworks. 
Knowledge of cloud/virtualization technologies, such as VMware vSphere, EC2, Xen, KVM, OpenStack 
Proficiency with various open source software and development tools 
Proficiency in one or more of Ruby, Java, C, ksh/bash shell scripts, Python or Perl 
Proficiency in git and Subversion 
2+ years of SaaS implementation experience is strongly preferred
