About the Role
As a Settlement Professional, you will be responsible for daily reconciliation of bank and system transactions across multiple payment channels, including FAST, EFT, wire, card, and POS transactions. You will ensure accurate matching and posting of transactions in SAP FI, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and reconcile settlements with clearing institutions such as BKM, TROY, Visa, and Mastercard. The role also includes controlling commission and POS fees, managing refund, cancellation, and chargeback processes, supporting merchant payout controls, and preparing regular reconciliation and settlement reports. You will work closely with banks and internal Finance, Accounting, and Treasury teams, while contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Perform daily bank and system reconciliations for payment transactions (FAST, EFT, wire, card, POS / virtual POS).
• Match bank transactions with internal systems; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure reconciled transactions are accurately posted into SAP FI and follow up on posting differences.
• Reconcile transactions with clearing institutions (BKM, TROY, Visa, Mastercard).
• Control commission rates, POS fees, and settlement reports.
• Manage refund, cancellation, and chargeback reconciliation processes.
• Support merchant payout controls and payment file checks.
• Prepare daily/periodic reconciliation and settlement reports.
• Coordinate with banks, Finance, Accounting, and Treasury teams when issues arise.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation in reconciliation and settlement flows.

Expected Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–8 years of experience in reconciliation, settlement, or financial operations.
• Experience with payment systems (FAST, EFT, card transactions, POS).
• Working knowledge of SAP FI and bank reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with card schemes and clearing processes (Visa, Mastercard, BKM, TROY).
• Understanding of commissions, fees, refunds, and chargeback processes.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Good Excel skills and basic reporting experience.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and meet cut-off deadlines.
• Good command of English (written and verbal).
