Service Writer/Warranty Administrator

We are seeking an enthusiastic, independent, and motivated Service Writer. The qualified candidate will work in our Martinez branch. A clean DMV record and a valid Driver’s License are required.  This individual must work independently and have excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities include:

Daily review of scheduling, proper work assignment, parts are in the box in the tech bin, and equipment needed is on hand for assigned in-shop technicians.

Supervise assigned technicians to make sure jobs are being completed in a timely fashion.

General administrative duties.

Customer contact over the phone and in-person. 

Work order preparation and follow-up for in-shop and warranty customers. 

Submit and follow up on warranty claims to manufacturers. 

Required skills

Mechanical knowledge.

Excellent verbal and written skills. 

Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Reliable and committed to teamwork.

Excellent organizational skills.

Courteous and calm in challenging situations.
