We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and inspection of industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role will require the ability to perform tasks such as cutting, welding, and fabricating new parts, as well as assembling equipment to meet operational requirements. Previous Mechanical experience is a plus along with a hunger to learn and grow with the business. Work is day-shift with some evenings and weekends required to meet business goals. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial machinery or equipment.
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
• Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using testing devices.
• Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
• Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.
• Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
• Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
• Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
• Record parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials as necessary.
• Record repairs and maintenance performed.
• Study schematics or manufacturers' manuals to determine the correct installation or operation of machinery.
• Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, or assemble new equipment.
• Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators.
• Keep rental area organized for inbound/outbound rental exchange.
• Manage company-owned tool inventory.
• Keep the Service area safe and organized.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.
