Description
The Service Sales Account Manager supports our existing service-based customers and attracts new commercial clients. We expect that you will build relationships with our existing customers and look after all their service-related needs, while reaching out to prospective customers and generate new sales opportunities. The successful candidate will increase income and revenue by generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales opportunities of fire protection products and services
Tasks & Responsibilities
Estimate service work, inspections, maintenance, testing, renovations and retrofits of various existing, new and potential clients.
Accountable for specifying, selling and becoming subject matter expert of CFLS Product and services.
Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential customer by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads to provide quotes.
Become an expert in your assigned market
Establish relationships with customers, prospects, and industry insiders
Identify new opportunities through new customer prospecting
Develop win/pricing strategy based on market and customer knowledge
Responsible for securing PMA deficiencies and service work with profitability in mind
Establish contact with purchasing influences as assigned or within the geographic territory
Sell new service agreements on all company products and services.
Maintain service contracts with existing customers.
Investigate and document competitive activity and trends.
Develop knowledge of product, codes and standards.
Meet directly with customers to establish their needs, and to drive the overall sales process.
Target new business opportunities using your industry contacts and expertise.
Stay current with new technologies, new products offerings, business strategies and market conditions to support and enhance sales activities.
Qualifications
Minimum two years of experience in the fire & life safety industry
Self-starter with evidence of customer cold calling
Must be willing to travel within the branch territory for customer calls
Excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledge of company products and services a must
Ability to work independently
Advanced sales skills and ability to develop effective customer solutions
Solid teamwork skills
Shows initiative
Advanced negotiation skills
Computer skills - Microsoft Office, CRM
Knowledge of applicable fire codes and standards.
Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
