Service Materials Director

Who will you be working with?

Wabtec Corporation is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services. You will report to the Vice President, Transit Services Operations.

How will you make a difference?

As a Service Materials Director you will drive alignment of materials, forecasting, lead-times and fulfillment practices across regions; ensure execution of strategic Supply Chain initiatives; support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

What will your typical day look like?

Forecast Process and deployment:

• Designer and owner of the Central forecast process and its deployment in all regions
• Define the leading and lagging KPIs to be monitored and reported to take care of the efficiency of the implementation of the strategy
• Drive the design and implementation of the reporting tools across the regions
• Support the increase of the sales forecast percentage

Leadtime alignment between Sites and SISCAT:

• Own any creation of tools or improvements of existing tools making possible the alignment of our delivery Leadtime between Sites and SISICAT
• Drive and monitor the deployment of the define process and tools

Distribution Centers:

• Propose the distribution strategy for TSG
• Define the relevant KPIs to monitor and help driving the performance of this strategy
• Drive through the Regions the deployment of the approved strategy

SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning):

• Support the deployment of SIOP process and tools in the various regions for Services activities

What do we want to know about you?

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Extensive experience in Supply Chain management in fast-paced, global manufacturing industries
• Professional proficiency in English and local language
• Exceptional leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities
• Strong communication skills across multiple regions
• Experience in forecast process design and implementation is considered a plus
• Background in cross-regional operational strategy is considered a plus
• Experience with SIOP processes is considered a plus
• Expertise in KPI development and performance monitoring is considered a plus
• Availability to travel internationally
