You will be part of a Managed Service Engineering team within Frequentis’ Customer Service Organisation that offers managed service for our Public Safety product - LifeX. The product is a leading communication and collaboration platform that serves large public safety control rooms, aiming for a continuously growing set of functionalities to fulfil the needs requested by our police, ambulance and fire brigade customers.
Your tasks
• Receive, document, reproduce, analyse and solve incidents reported by customers, according to the Service Level Agreements
• 3rd Level Windows/VMware/Hyper-V system support and administration
• 3rd Level Database administration and optimization
• 3rd Level Middleware support and administration
• Problem management and root cause analysis
• 24/7 ON CALL customer support (rotation)
• Documentation of known errors for 2nd Level Support
• Interface with product teams for designing product fixes, patches and solutions
• Verification of provided product patches and solutions
• Update technical documentation of the system and its interfaces
• All tasks will be done keeping in mind that this is a safety critical domain
Your profile
• Microsoft MCSE or equivalent experience in administrating high-availability-solutions in Microsoft Windows / Hyper-V environments
• VMware VC(A)P or equivalent experience in administrating high-availability-solutions in Vmware vSphere including vSAN
• Cisco CCNP or equivalent experience in administrating critical network infrastructure mainly in relation to usage of VoIP and encryption
• Knowledge in databases and Middleware applications including container solutions would be beneficial
• Safety aware Customer service quality orientation
• Good English skills (both written and spoken)
