Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing various industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including electric overhead traveling cranes
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns efficiently and effectively
• Consult with customers on repair and safety-related issues, providing expert advice and solutions
• Complete accurate and detailed documentation of all service activities using mobile devices
• Conduct regular inspections and safety checks on equipment
• Collaborate with team members to improve service quality and efficiency
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and safety standards
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed, including potential after-hours work

• Apprentice-trained or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or related field
• Proven experience in industrial equipment maintenance, repair, and servicing
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering disciplines and mechanical systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in using mobile devices for documentation and reporting
• Outstanding customer service skills with a professional demeanor
• Ability to work at heights and in various industrial environments
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites
• Strong commitment to health and safety practices
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Flexibility to work extra hours and participate in on-call rotations as needed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with overhead cranes and hoists is a plus
