We are seeking a confident and organised Service Coordinator to provide operational coverage during early mornings, evenings and weekends, key service periods where strong coordination ensures continuity of care for both participants and frontline staff.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys real-time coordination, problem solving and supporting teams in a fast-paced environment.
Important Availability Requirement
This position operates on a fixed and predictable 4-week rotating roster.
Applicants must be available to work all roster rotations listed below.
Training Requirement
Successful applicants must complete one week of training prior to commencing the roster:
Monday to Friday – 9:00am to 2:00pm
This training will cover SHCS systems, roster coordination processes, incident documentation and escalation pathways.
Rotating Roster (4-Week Cycle)
Week One
Thursday & Friday: 6:00am – 10:00am
Saturday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
Week Two
Thursday & Friday: 4:00pm – 10:00pm
Saturday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Week Three
Monday & Tuesday: 6:00am – 10:00am
Sunday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
Week Four
Monday & Tuesday: 6:00am – 10:00am
Sunday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Penalty rates apply in accordance with the SCHADS Award.
About the Role
As a Service Coordinator (Rotational Coverage) you will support continuity of services during critical service periods.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinating roster changes and managing short-notice call-ins
Arranging shift coverage within approved compatibility guidelines
Responding to low to moderate incidents and service concerns
Ensuring incidents are documented and escalated appropriately
Maintaining accurate participant and service documentation
Providing structured handover to senior staff following each shift
You will work independently within established policies and escalation pathways, with support from the broader coordination and management team.

Have experience in Home Care, disability, aged care or community services
Can manage competing priorities calmly and professionally
Communicate clearly with workers, participants and internal teams
Are confident making roster decisions within operational guidelines
Understand compliance and incident escalation processes
Enjoy problem solving and supporting frontline workers
Essential Requirements
Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
Minimum 2 years experience in the care or community services sector
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current First Aid & CPR
Current Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle
