The Role
Our Service Consultant - Oracle Retail Invoice Matching (ReIM) assist in the support of production application software. This includes assisting with troubleshooting issues, customizing existing software code, writing new software code, testing and debugging modifications and ensuring appropriate documentation is generated for software code wherever necessary for OLR.
In this role, you’ll:
Communicate with clients by providing on-call support as needed, during business and non-business hours
Support and troubleshoot production client environments
Take ownership of or assist with the logging, reporting, and resolution of application issues
Ensure development standards are met in all coding practices
Assist in maintaining the OLR software development environment
Build and test application enhancements and modifications
Assist project teams in defining software functionality
Ensures adherence to OLR and customers quality standards, policies, processes and procedures.
Document or maintain general retail, Oracle Retail, and/or OLR specific practices and standards
Assist in the mentoring and coaching of more junior members of the team
Act as a stand-in for Service Delivery Manager when required
Document knowledge articles for internal cross-training
Document and publish knowledge articles for the client to assist their first line resolution

Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
3+ years of experience working with Oracle Retail solutions in the retail industry.
3+ years of experience in development and/or systems integration within enterprise environments.
In-depth understanding of Oracle Retail Invoice Matching (ReIM), with additional knowledge of Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) and Store Inventory Management (SIM) considered an advantage.
Strong understanding of the invoice lifecycle, including how invoices are created, matched, and posted to General Ledger (GL) systems.
Proven analytical skills with the ability to debug complex production issues related to invoice creation, validation, and matching processes.
Strong technical expertise in PL/SQL, with experience using Eclipse to debug Java code; Shell scripting knowledge is an advantage.
Experience in Oracle Retail implementations, preferably across multiple projects; consulting experience is considered a plus.
Solid background in development and/or systems integration, with experience supporting enterprise retail systems.
Demonstrated experience supporting or promoting quality management systems, methodologies, and best practices.
Professional communicator with a strong customer-service mindset, demonstrating initiative, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Skilled at managing multiple priorities under pressure with strong time management, while maintaining confidentiality and adapting effectively within complex global environments
