Based in Bangalore, India recently relocated to a new office at The Hive Workspaces, Prestige Tech Platina, the India team plays a critical role in delivering Oracle Retail implementations, upgrades, and 24/7 global support across all OLR regions. Our teams work closely with teams in Europe, North America and Latin America to provide end-to-end Oracle Retail systems integration, application support, and continuous optimisation for global retail operations.
Our Bangalore-based professionals are deeply involved in large-scale Oracle Retail implementations, cloud migrations, system upgrades, and omnichannel transformation programs, helping global retailers scale, modernise and remain future-ready in a rapidly evolving retail landscape.
The Role
We are looking for a skilled Service Consultant - Oracle Retail (APEX) with strong experience in APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, and Oracle ADF. The ideal candidate will be responsible for application development, support, enhancement, integration, and client-facing service delivery in the Oracle Retail systems.
In this role, you’ll:
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Oracle Retail APEX and Oracle Retail ADF.
Develop UI components, reports, dashboards, and forms.
Customize applications using Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and Spring boot.
Implement reusable components and coding best practices.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries.
Work with Oracle JDeveloper for ADF development.
Support application deployment on application servers such as Oracle WebLogic Server.
Implement REST/SOAP integrations.
Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support for Oracle Retail applications.
Provide technical solutions and recommendations and support UAT activities.
Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer sessions.
Support release management and version control (Git/SVN).
Experience & Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years in Oracle Retail systems
Technical experience: Oracle APEX, Oracle ADF, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, UNIX, JDeveloper, Java, J2EE.
Retail domain knowledge is essential, with knowledge of Oracle Retail (RMS) desirable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle both development and support activities.
Experience working in client-facing service roles.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
