We are running in person Interviews over January at our Sodexo Office in Balcatta. 

Interviews will take place on the dates listed below and are strictly by invitation only. Confirmation from our Sodexo team is required to attend.

We’re looking for customer service-oriented people with hospitality experience or transferrable skills and a positive can-do attitude.  Your next adventure awaits!   

What do Service Attendants do? 

Service attendants are hospitality specialists that help improve quality of life for village residents living and working away from home. Working across a range of functions to support operational needs including: 

• Housekeeping/cleaning accommodation rooms (aka “dongas”) 

• Assisting in the kitchen and dining room service areas - food handling and food preparation required  

• Mine site cleaning of offices, crib rooms and ablution blocks 

• Providing customer service in the tavern or retail shop 

• Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas and common areas 

 

What does it take to work FIFO? 

The FIFO lifestyle can be very rewarding but it isn’t for everyone. Consider what to expect and what is required of you when assessing your options: 

• It is a prerequisite for this role that candidates are currently residing in WA 

• A National Police Check within the last six months is required 

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day or nights as required 

• Ability to endure remote environments in extreme weather conditions 

• Ability to multi-task and assist across areas with a positive teamwork approach 

• Ability to understand the requirements of safe work and safety protocols 

• Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening 

• Australian working rights; at a minimum seven-months remaining for those on a Working Holiday Visas with Regional work requirements already completed (if applicable for Visa renewal)

• WA drivers licence preferred
