The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Service Analyst - Xstore POS to join our dynamic L1 support team. This position is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in the area of Stores to help deliver & support successful store-level solutions for clients. They will provide expertise in industry and process areas for the Oracle Retail suite and store products.
In this role, you’ll:
Assist in the definition of project objectives, scope, organization, timelines, and overall approach
Assist in the definition of system configuration requirements, identify gaps, and recommend system modifications and process changes to optimally satisfy store operations requirements using the Oracle Retail store solutions; leverage the applications for optimized performance and ability to quickly deliver mission-critical data to Stores when it's needed. Oversee the documentation of functional requirements for modifications and support the design process for the client.
Consider implementation and integration alternatives as relevant
Maintain detailed knowledge of the functional capabilities and integration points of the Oracle Retail store solutions.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of a subset of the following retail concepts: merchandising, inventory management, warehouse management, store operations, planning/forecasting, replenishment, and pricing.
Participate in workshop sessions for clients to address the store operations process requirements with Oracle Retail functionality.
Required Skills:
Technical Expertise: Knowledge of Xstore POS application and basic hardware troubleshooting.
Java & Frameworks: Good knowledge of Java/J2EE and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
Database Skills: Basic knowledge of Oracle DB.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical users.
Tools & Platforms: Experience with ticketing systems (JIRA), remote desktop tools, and system monitoring tools.
Experience in 24*7 functional support and ticket handling.
Should be ready to work in rotational shifts (Lucrative Allowance + Cab facility).
Experience & Qualifications:
Ideally, with 1-2 years of hands-on experience in providing technical support for Xstore POS systems or similar retail systems.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
