Junior Service Advisor

This role is designed for growth; we provide the mentorship and training to help you become a top-tier Service Advisor.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $17.50– $24.00 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing: Core Responsibilities
You will support our senior advisors in delivering an exceptional Graham Auto experience.
Customer Communication & Sales
Act as the primary liaison between customers and technicians.
Manage high-volume communication: Answer phones (3 rings or less), texts, chats, and emails.
Follow a set Process to create repair orders and present estimates.
Explain Courtesy Vehicle Health Inspections and technician recommendations to customers with clarity and empathy.
Workflow & Parts Management
Accurately enter all vehicle data and walk-around inspections into Tekmetric.
Order parts timely, track deliveries, and process core returns/invoices.
Coordinate with the Shop Manager on warranty claims and sublet services.
Ensure the shop and customer waiting areas remain clean, professional, and presentable.
Growth & Support
Attend weekly team meetings and commit to ongoing professional development.
Driving the customer shuttle.
Assist with emergencies, such as picking up parts.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 1+ year of prior customer service experience required. Previous automotive experience is a plus!
Skills: Above-average computer skills and superior attention to detail.
Communication: Must be able to manage customer concerns using "The 3 C’s" (Condition, Cause, Correction) with professionalism.
Licensing: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
Certifications: Commitment to obtaining ASE G1 and C1 certifications
Flexibility to work at our Graham, WA, or Yelm, WA location when needed.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
Stationary Work: Position requires being stationary approx. 50% of the time, operating computers and office machinery.
Activity: Frequent verbal/electronic communication; occasional stair climbing and lifting of items up to 20 lbs.
Environment: Primarily indoors, with occasional exposure to shop noise and outdoor weather during vehicle walk-arounds or shuttle driving.
Hiring Process & Compliance Disclosures
Washington Fair Chance Act: In accordance with state law, we do not conduct background checks or Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) reviews until after a conditional offer of employment is extended.
Insurability Requirement: Because this role involves driving customer vehicles and the shop shuttle, final employment is contingent upon being deemed "insurable" by our commercial insurance carrier based on your driving record.
MVR Review: If a conditional offer is made, we will review your MVR. If any concerns arise, you will be given five business days to provide context or corrections before a final hiring decision is made.
