Join the Iron Star BBQ Team. Located in the heart of Oklahoma City, Iron Star Urban BBQ has been serving up elevated comfort food with true smokehouse flavor since 2002. We’re known for our warm, welcoming atmosphere, exceptional service, and scratch-made Southern classics. If you’re passionate about hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we want to meet you.

As a server, you’re the heartbeat of the dining room. We’re looking for someone who is confident, knowledgeable, and committed to hospitality. Your role is to guide guests through their experience — from warm greetings to menu suggestions to ensuring every bite and sip is just right.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide gracious and timely service

Have strong knowledge of the menu, daily features, and drink offerings

Take accurate orders and enter them efficiently into the POS

Assist guests with dietary needs or questions

Ensure tables are well-maintained throughout the meal

Handle payment transactions

Requirements:

Must be 21+

Prior serving experience preferred

Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours and lift up to 25 lbs

Must possess strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
