POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:

The Server Administrator will perform the role of Engineer for AWS and GCP, he/she will be responsible for day-to-day management of the infrastructure-related activities and must be competent in managing the security issues.

The person will report to the Functional Manager. The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

● Manage the overall IT Infrastructure, including information security policies, services.

● Plan and establish security Operations center to effectively monitor security posture of group companies.

● Keep all the servers and devices updated with the latest OS and security patches.

● Develop infrastructure, database and networking architecture for highly available, Internet-scale applications

● Define rehost, re-platform and re-architect migration strategies

● Should be able to develop overall strategy for Build & Release management

● Develop architecture of highly scalable, secure, efficient, and resilient systems

● Analyze Requirements and proactively estimate and project the requirements for infrastructure, security and DevOps initiatives

● Cloud/DevOps engineers from both technical and human-perspectives

● Develop PoCs, design & deployment of new cloud-based services for product environments

● Detail-Oriented and passionate about DevOps, and Information and Data Security

Requirements:
EDUCATIONAL / OTHER REQUIREMENTS

● B.E or Master’s Degree in IT

● AWS Certification will be an added advantage

● Minimum 1 years of experience in GCP Infrastructure Management

CORE COMPETENCIES

● Minimum 1+ years relevant experience in GCP is must

● Hands-on experience with GCP services like CloudRun, CloudSQL, Storage, IAM, VPC, API

● Strong Knowledge of Docker, Containers and Kubernetes

● Knowledge of DevOps will be an added advantage

● Experience on Carbon Black and Service Now

● Hands on skills in scripting Unix/Linux bash scripting

● Some experience with windows or unix administration

● Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Pipelines and tooling (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Github, Jira, or related)

● Should be able to propose new solutions for CI/CD implementation
