SEO & Website Manager
Role Overview
We are looking for an SEO & Website Manager to manage the performance, governance, and evolution of our website as a primary growth and demand engine. This role sits at the intersection of content, SEO, user experience, and analytics—ensuring our site is discoverable, high-performing, and continuously optimized for both human users and AI-driven search.
You will act as the central point of accountability for the website, managing day-to-day updates while leading ongoing optimization initiatives that improve engagement, and conversion. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a high-trust, expert-led environment.
This role requires a minimum of 2 days in the Boston, MA office
$88,000 - $110,000 + bonus
Key Responsibilities
• SEO & Discoverability
• Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with business and growth objectives across technical, on-page, and content optimization
• Coordinate keyword research and content optimization across product, persona, and industry pages
• Optimize content and site structure for emerging AI‑driven discovery (e.g., entity‑based search, generative results, and expert attribution)
• Optimize for authority, trust, and expert credibility—not just volume
• Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic trends, and search performance opportunities
• Collaborate with the content marketing team to ensure all content is optimized for search
• Conduct site audits, identify and resolve technical SEO issues related to crawlability, indexing, site speed, structured data, and internal linking
• Conversion & User Experience Optimization
• Optimize landing pages, forms, and CTAs to improve conversion rates
• Design and run A/B tests, iterating based on performance data
• Analyze and improve user journeys to reduce friction and increase engagement
• Web Projects & Continuous Improvement
• Draft, optimize, and structure website pages in collaboration with content and subject‑matter experts.
• Lead site enhancements such as:
• Optimizing for AI search and discoverability
• Improving navigation
• Implementing and managing content ungating strategies
• Adding and maintaining dynamic content experiences
• Manage multiple website initiatives simultaneously, owning execution from concept through launch
• Analytics & Reporting
• Own web analytics, including GA4, dashboards, and core KPIs
• Translate performance data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
• Regularly report website performance and optimization opportunities to stakeholders
• Content Management & Governance
• Design and maintain scalable content and information architecture across products, personas, industries, and capabilities
• Publish, update, and retire website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency
• Maintain clear content governance standards, including ownership, review cycles, and lifecycle management
• Ensure site content aligns with brand, messaging, and compliance requirements
• Ensure website content and structure support SEO best practices
• Cross-Functional Coordination
• Serve as the central point of contact for all website marketing-related requests
• Prioritize and manage requests from marketing, product, events, and content teams
• Align stakeholders on timelines, tradeoffs, and impact
Qualifications & Experience
• 5+ years of experience managing SEO strategy & websites with a strong focus on demand gen optimization
• Hands-on experience with GA4, SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush), and CMS platforms
• Strong understanding of modern SEO, including AI-driven search and content discovery
• Proven ability to optimize conversion funnels and user experience
• Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution
• Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally
• Comfortable presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
