You’re a senior SEO strategist focused on business impact—not just rankings. You’re technically strong, strategically sharp, and comfortable owning SEO from audit through execution and performance.

You understand how search is evolving. Beyond traditional SEO, you have a point of view on AI-driven search, LLM visibility, and how structured data, entity signals, and content architecture influence how brands are surfaced and cited.

You can diagnose complex technical issues, build clear roadmaps, and confidently present to senior stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Lead SEO strategy for enterprise and mid-market clients

• Conduct advanced technical audits (crawlability, indexation, rendering, site architecture, schema)

• Partner with developers to scope and validate implementations

• Shape strategies for AI Overviews and LLM-driven search experiences

• Align technical, content, and authority signals into cohesive growth plans

• Plan and execute Local Search optimization efforts

• Build reporting frameworks that connect SEO performance to business outcomes

• Present insights and recommendations to senior marketing leaders

What You’ll Need

• 5–8+ years of SEO experience, including enterprise websites

• Deep technical SEO expertise

• Strong understanding of search intent and content strategy

• Informed perspective on AI-driven search and LLM optimization

• Proficiency with tools like BrightEdge, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz Local, Reputation

• Experience with GA4

• Experience with local listings management

• Strong executive communication skills

• Agency experience preferred

Location: San Diego, CA (hybrid). Remote candidates in approved U.S. locations considered.

This range may differ based on your geographic location, cost of living considerations, and individual experience and skill set.

Hiring Range
$90,000—$100,000 USD
