Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to help us grow qualified organic traffic with speed, pragmatism, and strong analytical habits. You’ll build SEO systems that plug into real business workflows: technical SEO, content strategy, keyword intelligence, competitor analysis, reporting, and experimentation — so results are measurable, repeatable, and tied to revenue (not vanity metrics).
What you’ll do
• Own SEO strategy end-to-end: from audit to execution and iteration (technical SEO, on-page, content, internal linking, and basic off-page)
• Build and maintain a SEMrush-based growth engine: keyword research, topic clustering, gap analysis, SERP intent mapping, tracking, and competitor benchmarking
• Drive technical SEO improvements with engineering/product: crawling/indexation, site architecture, CWV/performance, log-based insights, and structured data
• Define and execute content plans that convert: briefs, optimization playbooks, refresh cycles, and prioritization based on impact
• Create dashboards and reporting that tie SEO to business outcomes (pipeline/revenue, activation, retention), not just clicks
• Run experiments and diagnose SEO issues pragmatically: isolate variables, measure uplift, document learnings, ship improvements continuously
• Proactively identify failure modes (cannibalization, crawl waste, index bloat, thin pages, intent mismatch, tracking drift) and fix them
• Collaborate async-first with content, product, design, and engineering: align on trade-offs, ship continuously, improve based on usage and data
Tech stack / tools
• SEMrush (core tool), Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4)
• Looker Studio / Power BI (or similar BI), spreadsheets
• Screaming Frog / Sitebulb, Ahrefs (optional)
• Basic HTML/CSS, optional SQL
• Jira/Slack
What we’re looking for
• Strong SEO fundamentals with a highly analytical approach (hypothesis-driven, measurable impact, clean reporting)
• Proven experience using SEMrush at an advanced level (keyword strategy, tracking, competitor intelligence, content workflows)
• Comfort integrating SEO into business processes: you care about conversion, UX constraints, and operational realities (not just rankings)
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and quickly re-prioritize without losing clarity or quality
• Clear and consistent communication in a fully remote team (async-first)
• Ability to turn ambiguous goals into a prioritized roadmap with clear owners, timelines, and KPIs
Nice to have
• Experience with programmatic SEO and scalable templates (guardrails against thin/cannibalized pages)
• Experience with content operations: editorial calendars, briefs, QA checklists, and stakeholder alignment
• Familiarity with analytics instrumentation and attribution caveats (GA4, events, UTMs, tracking drift)
• Working knowledge of basic scripting (Python) or SQL for analysis and automation
• Knowledge of international SEO and multi-language sites (hreflang, localization workflows)
Let us know
• Your portfolio (case studies, dashboards, content you led, SEO audits, before/after results)
• (Optional) 2–3 SEO initiatives you shipped and what you owned (technical fixes, content strategy, SEMrush workflows, reporting, experimentation)
