handle the entire solar journey for US homeowners. As we scale, we need a high-performing

SEO Specialist who can dominate traditional organic rankings while simultaneously preparing

our brand for the next era of AI-driven search (Generative Engine Optimization).

The Role

Your primary mission is to drive high-quality homeowner leads through traditional organic

search. You will own the SEO roadmap, focusing on "buy intent" keywords and localized search

dominance. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring Lytegen's content is optimized for

GEO making our brand a preferred citation in AI summaries (Google AI Overviews, Perplexity,

and ChatGPT).

Key Responsibilities

1. Core SEO Strategy (Primary Focus)

● Keyword Research & Mapping: Use Semrush and Ahrefs to identify high-intent

keywords (e.g., "best solar companies in California," "solar panel cost Sacramento").

● On-Page & SurferSEO: Audit and optimize existing content using SurferSEO. Ensure

pages meet high NLP (Natural Language Processing) scores to satisfy both Google's

algorithm and users.

● Local SEO Dominance: Manage Semrush Local to ensure Lytegen appears in the

"Local Pack" for target US cities. Maintain absolute NAP (Name, Address, Phone)

consistency.

● Technical SEO: Conduct audits via Screaming Frog. Fix crawl errors, optimize site

speed (Core Web Vitals), and ensure mobile-first performance.

2. Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)

● Citation Strategy: Structure content to be "AI-ready." Use direct, authoritative answers

and bulleted summaries that AI models can easily extract and cite.

● Entity & Schema Markup: Implement advanced Schema (LocalBusiness, FAQ,

Review) to help AI engines understand Lytegen as a trusted entity.

3. Execution & Reporting

● Content Collaboration: Work with writers to ensure articles answer homeowner

questions directly, capturing "featured snippets" and AI summaries.

● Data Analytics: Track performance through GA4 and Search Console, focusing on lead

volume and organic ROI.

Requirements

● Experience: 5+ years of proven SEO experience, specifically targeting the USA market.

● Mandatory Tool Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Semrush and SurferSEO.

● GEO Knowledge: A strong understanding of how Generative AI (SGE, ChatGPT)

impacts search and how to optimize for citations.

● Lead Gen Background: Prior experience in high-ticket industries like Solar, Real

Estate, or Home Services.

● Communication: Non-negotiable excellence in written and verbal English.

● Analytical Mindset: Ability to turn complex data into a prioritized SEO action plan.
