Purpose of Role/Summary:

The SEO Specialist plays a pivotal role in executing and optimizing our content and link-building strategies to drive organic growth and search engine visibility. This hybrid role combines hands-on SEO content coordination with performance-driven link-building management. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of SEO best practices, excellent coordination and communication skills, and the ability to manage both content workflows and external partnerships. Working closely with the SEO Team Lead, writers, and external agencies, the SEO Specialist ensures our content is well-optimized, published on time, and supported by authoritative backlinks that align with our overall digital marketing goals. Experience in financial or Forex industry SEO is a strong plus.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

Develop SEO-focused content briefs for writers

Experience in ASO will be considered advantageous

Coordinate the timely publication of blog articles and landing pages

Manage writers to ensure quality and timely content delivery

Review content for compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory standards

Maintain and regularly update the keyword list in alignment with SEO strategy

Oversee and ensure execution of the monthly link-building calendar

Manage relationships with link-building agencies, ensuring deliverability, quality, and deadlines are met

Maintain and update a performance dashboard tracking link-building results

Identify and propose high-quality backlink opportunities beyond agency support

Collaborate with PR and marketing teams to develop link-worthy content initiatives

Support digital PR and sponsored article strategies to enhance SEO performance

Work closely with the Digital Marketing Executive to ensure backlink relevance and quality

Any other duties required by the role.

Required Skills & Experience:

3+ years experience as an SEO Specialist, preferably within the financial, Forex, or brokerage industry

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business and Finance or similar is required

English is essential (both written and spoken), Arabic would be considered as an advantage

Solid understanding of SEO principles, content optimization, and link quality

Proven experience managing freelance writers and/or external agencies

Strong project management, organizational, and cross-team coordination skills

Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate SEO briefs and collaborate with internal teams.

Experience in regulated or financial industries is a plus

Working hours are 08:00– 17:00 or 09:00-18:00 Monday to Friday

The role is in Limassol, Cyprus
