The Opportunity We're seeking an experienced SEO/Growth Manager for an intensive 1-month engagement to rapidly enhance our organic visibility, drive qualified lead generation, and establish a scalable, always-on SEO strategy. This is a high-impact role with measurable deliverables across both traditional search and emerging AI-powered discovery platforms.
Primary Objectives
Month 1 Deliverables: 1. AI SEO Optimisation
Optimise NewGen's digital presence for AI discovery tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity,
Claude, Gemini, etc.)
Implement structured data and entity optimisation for AI tool crawlers
Position NewGen as the go-to recommendation for social creator agency

Benchmark current AI visibility and establish tracking metrics
2. Website SEO Enhancement
Conduct a comprehensive technical SEO audit of NewGen's website
Optimise on-page elements (meta tags, headers, content structure, internal links)

Identify and fix technical issues (site speed, mobile optimisation, crawlability)
Develop a content optimisation strategy for high-intent keywords
Implement schema markup and rich snippets
3. Backlink Strategy & Execution
Audit the current backlink profile and identify opportunities/risks
Develop a targeted outreach strategy for high-authority industry backlinks
Create linkable assets (thought leadership, data, case studies)
Execute initial outreach campaign with measurable results○
Set up monitoring and tracking systems for ongoing link acquisition
4. Always-On SEO Strategy
Create 6-12 month roadmap for sustained organic growth
Establish KPI framework and reporting dashboards
Document processes, tools, and workflows for internal team handoff
Identify quick wins vs. long-term opportunities
Provide training/knowledge transfer to NewGen team
Success Metrics
Improved keyword rankings for target terms (creator agency, influencer marketing, etc.)
Increased organic traffic and qualified leads
Enhanced visibility in AI tool responses
Measurable improvement in domain authority and backlink profile
Delivery of an actionable, always-on SEO strategy with clear ROI projections
Establishment of baseline metrics and tracking systems
Required Experience
5+ years in SEO with proven track record of driving organic growth
Deep expertise in both traditional SEO and emerging AI discovery optimization
Demonstrated success with B2B service companies or agencies
Strong technical SEO skills (site audits, schema, Core Web Vitals)
Proven link building and outreach experience
Experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console,
etc.)
Data-driven approach with strong analytical capabilities
