Position Summary:
The position of SEO / Social Content writer is a key position within our company. With responsibilities ranging from client interaction and communication to crafting messaging, being a positive voice for each brand online, to being an out-of-the-box creative thinker to help get the best traction for all content created. The person in this position will need to be easy to work with, great at managing their time, and be available to connect with clients when they reach out.

The Social Copywriter's responsibilities include curating content for long-form blog posts, landing pages, social media schedules, responding to followers, and tracking user engagement. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent web content writing skills and experience writing content across multiple social networks. You will also be required to write articles for SEO purposes. You will be required to follow our workflow, roll out plans and execute each plan accordingly. You will also be required to learn some technical aspects of SEO, as well as communicate professionally with clients and also continue to learn. (having these skills already would be a major benefit).

We are searching for a talented content writer who we can train into an AIO editor / writer – someone who uses AI (Content at Scale, jasper, chatGPT4 etc) as their baseline to write the content (we will provide you with the training and the tools), and optimises that content output for best results with both search engines and the value we bring to humans through our content.

We look for writers that either have some experience or are willing to learn to become AIO writers (optimizers/editors of Artificial Intelligence-produced content). You will work directly with the founder and write creative, thoughtful, well-researched content for our own brands and our clients. You'll be in a small but powerful team. No games, no politics; we like to get great work done together!

You must have some experience researching, formulating, and writing SEO and branding copy and messaging (blogs, pages, on-site guides, emails, books) that will captivate and engage clients, written in the first person. (or any person)

Role specific Responsibilities::
• Write, edit and publish long-form SEO-optimised posts
• Write, edit and optimise Landing pages
• Write, edit and publish engaging posts for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
• Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our client's target audience’s behaviours
• Select appealing images and videos to complement the text
• Coordinate with internal teams to create advertising posts
• Have a strong understanding of LinkedIn Sales Navigator
• Respond to questions and comments on our social media pages in a timely and accurate manner
• Network with clients and industry professionals
• Meet with clients to strategise what their voice is and who they are trying to reach, then be able to curate content that reflects the outcomes of the meeting.

Work experience & skills::
• Significant experience in SEO content creation
• Significant experience as a Social Content Copy Writer or a similar role (or willingness to learn)
• Solid team collaboration experience.
• Experienced in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite of Products.
• Hands-on experience using Social software ie Sprout Social
• A Love and enthusiasm for AI
