What the job looks like?

As the SEO / AEO Manager, you will be responsible for driving organic growth through hands-on execution across Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). This is a strongly execution-focused role, aimed at improving organic visibility, traffic quality, and downstream performance across global markets.

You will work closely with the Global Performance Marketing Team to implement technical, on-page, content, and SERP-level optimizations, ensuring Tickmill is discoverable across traditional search engines and emerging answer-driven platforms (AI search, featured snippets, rich results).

Key Responsibilities

SEO & AEO Execution

Execute and optimize on-page, technical, and off-page SEO initiatives across Tickmill’s web properties.

Own keyword research, search intent mapping, and content optimization for both SEO and AEO (featured snippets, FAQs, structured answers).

Optimize content and site structure to improve visibility across search engines and AI-driven answer platforms.

Implement schema markup and structured data to enhance SERP features and answer-readiness.

Technical SEO

Identify and resolve technical SEO issues related to crawlability, indexing, site speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, and international SEO.

Work closely with developers and product teams to implement SEO best practices and fixes.

Monitor site health, search console errors, and algorithm impacts.

Content & SERP Optimization

Collaborate with content, performance, and regional teams to optimize existing content and guide new content creation based on search demand.

Improve rankings, CTR, and engagement through title/meta optimization, internal linking, and content refreshes.

Optimize landing pages to support both organic acquisition and paid performance funnels.

Performance Measurement & Insights

Track and report on organic performance including rankings, organic traffic, engagement, conversions, and lead quality.

Analyze search data to uncover growth opportunities, gaps, and quick wins.

Share learnings, insights, and best practices with the wider Performance Marketing Hub.

Collaboration & Enablement

Support regional teams with SEO guidance, localization best practices, and market-specific optimizations.

Ensure SEO initiatives align with brand, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Contribute to building scalable SEO frameworks, workflows, and playbooks.

KPIs & Success Metrics

Organic traffic growth (quality-focused)

Keyword and SERP feature visibility

Organic conversions and lead quality

Technical SEO health metrics

Speed and effectiveness of execution

Qualifications & Experience

4–6 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in performance-driven or regulated industries.

Strong executional experience across technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content SEO.

Practical knowledge of AEO, featured snippets, structured data, and search intent optimization.

Experience with international SEO, multi-language or multi-market sites.

Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar.

Comfortable working with developers, designers, and content teams.

Experience in fintech, trading, or other compliance-heavy industries is a strong plus.
