Team mission

As our Senior Workplace Specialist, you will play a key role in bringing our culture to life, enhancing the employee workspace experience that encourages innovation.

Your mission

• Building Operations & Safety: Perform routine maintenance checks and improve processes. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across our growing office portfolio.

• Vendor Management: Negotiate and supervise contracts with contractors and build a supply chain in our growing office portfolio.

• Portfolio management: Manage brokers and monitor contracts within our international office portfolio and build strong relationships with attached stakeholders.

• Space Management: Plan building layout, handle renovations, and optimize workspace utilization.

• Financial Management: Monitor facility budgets, manage utility expenses, and approve maintenance expenditures while maintaining cost efficiency.

• Sustainability: Plan and implement energy-efficient and sustainable practices aligned with GetYourGuide's commitment to responsible business operations.

Your toolkit

• You have 4/5 years of experience in facilities management, health and safety regulations and workplace obligations in Germany. Experience in those areas in other countries is a plus.

• You have led larger projects in a timely manner and according to budget requirements (you are able to mention at least 2 successful project examples).

• You are a great multitasker with strong time management and prioritization skills with the ability to balance conflicting demands.

• You’ve led small teams and/or vendor workstreams, and you’re a strong cross-functional collaborator who keeps stakeholders aligned and moving.

• You have strong communication and negotiation skills

• Fluent in English and German
