ROLE OVERVIEW:

Jumpfactor is in search of a skilled Senior WordPress Developer with 4+ years of proven experience building, maintaining, and optimizing high-performing websites. In this role, you will be a key player in translating design concepts into fully functional, responsive, and scalable web solutions. You’ll collaborate with our design, SEO, and strategy teams to implement custom builds, plugins, Google APIs, event tracking codes, and microdata markup to drive real results for B2B tech and MSP clients. WHO YOU ARE:

• You have 4+ years of experience in professional WordPress development.

• You expertly translate designs from the design team into pixel-perfect, functional WordPress sites.

• You are an expert with page builders like Elementor, WP Bakery, Divi, Beaver, and Fusion Builder.

• You possess full-stack proficiency in PHP, JavaScript (including modern frameworks), HTML, CSS, and MySQL.

• You build, customize, and maintain WordPress themes, plugins, and WooCommerce sites with ease.

• You are skilled in using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create flexible content solutions.

• You excel at optimizing websites for site speed, performance, SEO, and security.

• You have hands-on experience implementing Google APIs, RESTful services, event tracking, and other third-party integrations.

• You are an expert troubleshooter, skilled in bug fixing, maintenance, and ensuring high availability.

• You write clean, scalable, and efficient code, adhering to W3C standards and Git best practices.

• You are an effective problem-solver with a keen eye for detail

• You possess excellent English communication skills and are able to collaborate in EST hours.

• You have experience with various hosting environments, including cPanel, Plesk, and cloud solutions.

• You stay current with Headless WordPress, JAMstack approaches, and emerging web technologies.

• You have experience with HubSpot Development, Landingi, UXPIN, or Mautic (preferred).

YOUR WEB DEVELOPMENT WORK WILL INCLUDE:

• Developing custom WordPress themes, plugins, shortcodes, widget areas, and custom post types

• Building, updating, and maintaining responsive, scalable, and high-performance WordPress websites

• Configuring and customizing WordPress core, plugins, and integrating with APIs and third-party tools

• Translating client requirements and design mockups into functional and intuitive user experiences

• Collaborating with strategists, SEO specialists, and designers to manage project timelines

• Building, testing, and optimizing both front-end and back-end functionality to ensure performance

• Writing, reviewing, and maintaining well-structured, efficient, and compliant code

• Testing and debugging across multiple browsers and screen sizes to ensure a consistent experience

• Coding and managing custom MySQL databases, ensuring optimized queries and secure data handling

• Configuring and customizing other CMS platforms like Shopify or Webflow (as needed)

JOB TYPE:

• Full-Time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm EST)

• Independent Contractor
