About Gnosis Pay
Gnosis Pay provides the API and card-program infrastructure that enables wallets, fintechs, and businesses to issue stablecoin-powered payment cards and create custom payment flows. Partners can easily connect on-chain wallets to real-world spending.

With our technology, users can spend stablecoins directly from their on-chain wallet using a Visa debit card. Transactions are executed through a secure smart-wallet rather than a traditional bank account, allowing users to retain full custody of their assets while paying anywhere Visa is accepted.

About the role and team
We build the infrastructure that bridges traditional financial rails and crypto, enabling new financial products and seamless integrations. Our goal is to provide a secure, scalable, and developer-friendly platform that powers both internal product teams and external partners. 

We are seeking a senior Ethereum developer with hands-on experience in the payments industry to help us take Gnosis Pay from a B2C v1 to establish a B2B2C v2. This role is a unique opportunity to shape the performance and scalability of a Web3-anchored product that bridges self-custodial crypto assets with global Visa acceptance. You will be involved in architecture, implementation and rollout of the Gnosis Pay product to clients.

You will be an integral member of a crypto-native organization that has been building for and on Ethereum since the genesis block and which now works on bringing web3 innovation to a large number of non-crypto native users.

Key Responsibilities:• Own the interface between permissionless blockchains like Gnosis Chain and traditional payment networks like Visa

• Design, develop, and deploy high-performance and scalable backend services using Go as well as smart contracts in Solidity

• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards

• Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to model complex business domains effectively

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and other integration points

• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Contribute to the definition and improvement of our system architecture and engineering processes

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively and efficiently

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Ethereum, Go, payments card industry

• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team

Who you are:
• Proven experience (6+ years) in software development with a strong focus on backend development, specifically developing and deploying high-scale, reliable services (ideally in Fintech, Payments, or high-throughput systems) 

• Passion for building innovative financial products and obsession with customer experience – you advocate for what’s best for users

• Hands-on experience with Solidity smart contract development, integration into backend systems (indexers, transaction broadcasting and settlement issues, interfacing RPC providers and their issues, account abstraction)

• Proficiency in Go is ideal but not a strict requirement

• You are excited to work at the intersection of and bridge the gaps between traditional finance and permissionless blockchain networks
