Senior Web Developer - TypeScript, Builder.io, Vercel

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Web Developer with experience in TypeScript, Builder.io, and Vercel to join our team and help improve and maintain our clients' websites. The ideal candidate should be highly competent in building, maintaining, and optimizing modern, dynamic web platforms, with a focus on improving user experience and solving existing technical issues.

This role involves maintaining and fixing issues (such as ALT tag problems, pagination issues, and embedded videos) as well as planning and executing improvements to the user experience.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Develop and maintain both backend and frontend code for websites built with TypeScript and Builder.io.
✅ Identify and resolve technical issues on the website (e.g., SEO issues, CMS functionality errors, pagination problems).
✅ Implement user experience improvements and optimize the site’s navigation flow.
✅ Ensure proper integration with Vercel for deployments and web infrastructure optimization.
✅ Perform technical audits and provide proactive solutions to enhance website speed, security, and accessibility.
✅ Collaborate with internal teams and developers to ensure client needs are met efficiently and within set timelines.
✅ Document the development and maintenance process for future reference and keep the codebase organized and understandable.

Required Qualifications

🔹 Minimum of 4 years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on both frontend and backend development.
🔹 Proficiency in TypeScript and experience working with modern frameworks.
🔹 Experience with Builder.io as a content management system (CMS), with the ability to troubleshoot and improve CMS implementation.
🔹 Advanced knowledge of Vercel as a hosting platform and for continuous deployment.
🔹 Experience with GitHub and good version control practices.
🔹 Experience in technical SEO and web page optimization.
🔹 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The job is 100% in English.
🔹 Previous experience with American clients or companies that worked 100% in English.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Preferred)

✅ Experience with Jetpack Compose or similar web technologies for modern UI development.
✅ Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation pipelines.
✅ Knowledge of performance optimization and web security best practices.

Examples of Tasks

• Identify and fix technical issues on the website, such as:
• Fixing ALT tag issues for images and visual content to ensure proper display.
• Correcting pagination errors for blog pages and press articles to ensure smooth navigation.
• Fixing video playback issues, where triggering one video results in playing all videos on the page.
• Optimizing user experience on accordions (collapsible elements) on the pricing page and other sections.
• Improving SEO implementation to boost website ranking, including structured data integration and fixing missing or incorrect tags.
• Managing webhook functionality in the backend to ensure proper execution of build and deployment processes, with a special focus on integrations with Vercel.
• Maintaining and updating content in Builder.io, including creating new modular elements and improving the CMS usability.
• Improving site navigation, working on fixing breadcrumb functionality and enhancing navigation control on press and blog pages.
• Ensuring that all updates and new content (such as blog posts, press articles, and other resources) are properly published, including last modified dates.
