Our client is a creator of a Scientific Management Platform that unifies experiment documentation, sample tracking, compliance, and system integrations in one solution.

We are seeking a Senior Vue.js Engineer to help evolve and maintain an established SaaS platform used by customers around the world. In this role, you will focus on improving existing functionality, scaling the front-end architecture, and delivering high-quality enhancements that balance innovation with reliability. You will work in a remote team environment, collaborating with distributed product, design, and engineering teams to ensure a consistent, accessible, and performant user experience across the platform.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain front-end features for a production SaaS application using Vue.js

• Improve and refactor existing codebases with an emphasis on maintainability, scalability, and performance

• Implement and expand automated testing to support frequent releases and prevent regressions

• Ensure the application meets WCAG accessibility standards and usability best practices

• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to deliver iterative, customer-driven improvements

• Work effectively with back-end, QA, security, and platform teams in a distributed remote environment

• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and ongoing delivery within established SaaS workflows

• Review code and contribute to shared front-end patterns, components, and documentation

• Communicate technical decisions, tradeoffs, and timelines clearly through async and live channels

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional front-end engineering experience, preferably on production SaaS products

• Strong expertise in Vue.js and TypeScript

• Proven experience with automated testing (unit, integration, and/or end-to-end) in a continuous delivery environment, preferably with Cypress

• Solid understanding of web accessibility and inclusive design practices

• Experience working with existing, long-lived codebases and balancing technical debt with feature delivery

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese, especially in remote teams

• Excellent time management skills and ability to manage work across multiple priorities

Nice to have:

• Experience working closely with design teams and structured design systems

• Familiarity with Figma and SaaS design-to-development workflows

• Experience contributing to shared component libraries or front-end platforms

• Knowledge of front-end performance optimization and browser compatibility

• Experience mentoring engineers or leading front-end initiatives
