Job Description

This team is at the heart of Daily Mails growth strategy and you would help push the team further in the creation of agenda setting work. As a senior designer you would help lead the junior members of the team and set an example to them in the creation of digital-first news graphics.

What we are looking for:

• Experience designing for a news room environments

• Proven record of creating engaging and immersive visual stories

• Knowledge of font-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JS)

• A clear eye for design and detail

• Proficiency in Adobe suite

• Knowledge of data viz and GIS (Fourish, Datawrapper QGIS etc)

• Mapping languages (MapLibre, Mapbox)

• Knowledge of Figma

A person should be:

• Able to handle stress in a fast paced environment

• Work well under pressure/time constraints

• Be open and approachable

• Collaborate with wider news room (Editors, picture desk, video desk)
