Role Mission

This role helps bring Prop Firm Match’s content to life through high-quality, engaging video content for social media and digital platforms.

This editor turns trading insights, educational topics, and platform updates into videos that are clear, dynamic, and easy to follow, while taking strong ownership of the editing process and the overall quality of video production output.

The role requires a strong eye for editing and a good understanding of what works on platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Beyond editing skills, we’re looking for someone who understands how to shape content in a way that captures attention and performs well.

Success in this role means delivering strong video content consistently, taking ownership of production quality, staying organised, and actively contributing to improving the overall performance and impact of our video output.

Requirements:
Performance Objectives

1. Deliver high-quality video content optimized for social media performance

Produce engaging video content that clearly communicates trading insights, educational topics, and platform updates while performing effectively across social platforms.

Key outcomes:

▸ Edit long- and short-form video content for social media

▸ Ensure strong pacing, storytelling, and visual clarity

▸ Structure videos with engaging hooks and optimized editing

▸ Adapt content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and similar platforms

▸ Apply best practices for captions, subtitles, and mobile viewing

▸ Maintain editing style aligned with PFM’s brand

▸ Deliver high-quality video assets within agreed timelines

2. Manage video editing workflow and content organization (ongoing)

Maintain an organized and efficient editing process to support consistent content production.

▸ Manage editing priorities across multiple video projects
▸ Ensure consistent editing quality and visual structure across outputs

3. Collaborate with internal teams and prioritize video production needs (ongoing)

Work closely with internal teams to ensure video content supports marketing and content initiatives.

▸ Prioritize editing tasks based on campaign and publishing schedules
▸ Communicate clearly regarding timelines, feedback, and revisions
▸ Adapt quickly to feedback and evolving content needs

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in video editing, preferably working on digital content, social media, or marketing-related video production.
• Strong proficiency with professional video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro (required). Experience with After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of social media video formats and performance dynamics, including editing styles suitable for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and similar channels.
• Proven ability to produce both long-form and short-form video content, adapting pacing and storytelling depending on the platform and audience.
• Strong storytelling and editing fundamentals, including pacing, transitions, visual structure, and attention to detail.
• Ability to add and manage subtitles, captions, basic motion graphics, and simple visual effects to improve clarity and engagement.
• Fully fluent English proficiency (written and spoken) with a high level of accuracy is required for this role, ensuring clear communication and precision in content.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a remote and asynchronous environment, communicating clearly with marketing and content teams.
