Monks is looking for an English-speaking producer to oversee 3D and post production processes. In this role, you will be supervising and coordinating VFX projects. You’ll be responsible for managing the output of our in-house artists. In this role, clear communication and technical competency are crucial and a big part of your day-to-day job will be to keep everyone informed on the progress and potential pitfalls of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review incoming requests from clients and internal teams, assessing what needs to be done and when.

• Help Executive producers to quote and scope alongside our technical team and make plans for the different projects

• Assemble the right team for the job.

• You liaise between our offices and clients to make sure Monks nails milestone after milestone, hustling internal resources to meet external deadlines no matter what.

• You work together with operations, project managers, executive producers, and creatives to make sure we always achieve the right and highest quality.

• You work with 3D artists, directors, and (film) producers to make sure every pixel is polished to perfection.

• A big part of your day-to-day is briefing team members on delivery objectives and keeping everyone informed on the progress of projects.

• You relay client feedback to the team and look after the quality of their output.

• You translate the complexity of the production needs into lucid language that clients and other outsiders can understand.

• You make sure deadlines are met with lethal precision and flag the ones that aren’t attainable upfront.

• You schedule, track, prioritize assignments, and make sure the right talents are available.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience producing VFX and 3D projects.

• Previous experience in the advertising and automotive industry is also valuable.

• You have proven planning and communication skills in English.

• You can translate the intricacies of the post production process into clear language that clients and other outsiders can understand.

• You have sufficient technical know-how to foresee and address possible planning or production issues, and preferably have a couple years of hands-on experience with editing and/or VFX/CGI production.

• You keep up to date with developments in the field of software and hardware.

• You´ve kept up to date with AI evolution and know how to use it to make projects more efficient.

• You excel at multitasking, keeping your cool while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• You work well as part of a team. Being respectful and mindful of all team members creating a healthy work environment where craft can strive.
