Senior Ventilation Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a new experienced team member who has an advanced understanding of technical interrelationships and a track record of successfully completed interdisciplinary projects. Your responsibilities will include among others:

• Designing ventilation/ductwork systems for commercial and industrial buildings
• Creating schematic drawings and concepts
• Sizing of pipework and selection of components
• Supporting the CAD designers in implementing the plans in the 3D model
• Coordination of ventilation planning with other planning participants and experts
• Leading the preparation of technical drawings and documents for different design stages
• Collaborating with international colleagues of various disciplines and supporting the delivery of successful projects with a customer-oriented mindset 

• Either Engineering / Technical degree or at least 3 years of relevant practical experience
• Recognised qualification in mechanical / building services engineering
• Experience of designing ventilation services in line with appropriate standards, guidelines and client requirements
• Ability to mentor and provide leadership to CAD designers of all levels
• Enthusiastic learner, well-organised and team-oriented work attitude
• Proactive individual, seeking feedback on improving productivity and quality
• Effective listener with ability to communicate needs
• Excellent speaking and writing skills in English. Knowledge of German will be a plus
